As part of the events organised to commemorate the Holocaust Remembrance Day 2025, the Jewish Museum Lecce opens the contemporary art solo exhibition "Wander, Persist, Survive", curated by Fiammetta Martegani, by the American artist Lenore Mizrachi-Cohen, with Syrian-Jewish heritage. Through a series of site specificpieces of art, the exhibition tells about the history of Jewish people and its migrations from the time of the expulsions from Puglia to the Jewish diaspora today.
It will be displayed side by side with the exhibition "Puglia, Crossroads of the Mediterranean - Mobility of people, goods, and cultures" curated by Fabrizio Lelli and Fabrizio Ghio, contributing to Puglia's standing as a significant cultural destination.
Music by Eleonora Carbone (harp) and tasting by Cantine Leuci.
