On the occasion of the Holocaust Remembrance Week 2024, the Jewish Museum Lecce offers a rich calendar of initiatives that will take place from January 26 th to January 30 th 2024. With the patronage of Puglia Region, Province of Lecce, Municipality of Lecce and UCEI - Union of Italian Jewish Communities, in cooperation with Infotab Tours, CESRAM (Centro Studi Relazioni Atlantico Mediterranee), Italy-Israel Association “Elisa Springer” Lecce, Lecceventi, Cantine Leuci, Melograni Martino and Loft Music School.

H. 11:00 AM - Local students will meet Claudio Fano, direct witness of the racial laws and the Jews deportation from the Ghetto of Rome on October 16th 1943. With Prof. Fabrizio Lelli, director of the Jewish Museum Lecce and professor of Hebrew language and literature at La Sapienza University (Rome) and the architect and archaeologist Fabrizio Ghio, member of the Scientific Committee of the Jewish Museum Lecce.
